SOLD; For Sale: 1984 Mariner, 25hp, short shaft, tiller. This is a great motor for most any jon boat. The only reason Im selling is b/c I upgraded to a 40hp. Im not sure if my dad was the original owner of the motor or not, but he got it in 1985 and its been with us the entire time. Nothing wrong with it to speak of…It does have an electric starter that burnt out in it back in the mid 90s and we’ve just pull started it ever since. Manual tilt and trim. Motor is ready to go mount and ride, no work needed. $800.00
Is this the model with forward/reverse on the tiller handle or does it have the shifter on the housing?

Foward and Reverse is on the housing…not the tiller handle.
I was hoping it was on the tiller handle like mine.

I might be interested once I get a tax return. It’s a bit bigger than what I really was looking at but would do the trick nicely.
