Forever Young_New Co-Captain_Memorial Day Report

Late report but quite a few internet problems this week…thanks again COMCAST! Headed south out of wapoo cut about 4 a.m. under the big moon. First line in near 380 got hit by a nice phin while dropping it back. Quickly boated a few more phins early. Then the bite shut off before lunch for us. Boated 10 gaffers before heading to some bottom numbers. No shortage of vermilion out there…fished 45 min and caught several keeping 7 big boys. Oh…and I found a new co-captain 60 miles out…he appreciated the drink of water we gave him.

Haha! Thats pretty cool. I bet that little guy just wanted a ride home. Nice pics.

Nice dolphin, and great co-captain. That’s awesome lol.

Moral judgment under girds the entire structure of laws and is necessary for the rational structure of any significant statute. The idea that our laws can stand independent of moral foundation is senseless.----- Albert Mohler.

Have had birds come in the cabin and eat all the flys and then fly away! I think they might follow the gulls out1

Too funny! This little dude joined us 60 miles off a couple of years back. Totally took over the captains chair AND led us to a nice Wahoo! After that there was no way we were going to trade him for a grouper!!

I hope he chipped in on bait and fuel.

Had that happen one time when I was bottom fishing about 50 miles out. He rode with us the whole way back until we got into the sound.

Would that be considered live bait?

Had the exact same type of bird join us a couple of weeks ago. He would sit on your lap or hand just like that. Went in the cabin to chill out for a while and then flew off.

Its funny how those birds end up out there.
