Fouled morning

Headed out at 7 am, hit harbor and was expecting it to be a calm day. Wave Cast had 2 ft at 9 sec. Was bounced to death at jetties and before clearing the rocks trim tab screwed up slamming the nose down and took water over the bow. Rod holder broke out of the glass and almost lost my wire line rod. We turned around and headed home. I took off trim tabs until it can be replaced., repaired glass and rod holder. Going in the morning, don’t know if it laid down or not past the rocks but tomorrow looks better anyway. Hope you guys had better luck than me

Here is a link to the 20nm buoy. Something else to check that is real time right before you venture out.

wind was blowing 19 knots @ 7 am, what gave you the idea that it was an “offshore” day?
