Should’ve taken off straight out from the Jetties as the ocean was nice, but stuck to the day’s plan. Found some keeper BSB just offshore on cut bait and jigs, so we had some meat in the cooler. None big enough to weigh for the tournament. Headed inshore to find a nice flat fish and hopeful trout. Well it’s nice when a plan comes to play as we boated a keeper trout on a live menhaden, and then a flounder on a float-drifted mudminnow right before low. Again, neither of these fish warranted weighing for the tournament, so we just headed home with some decent dinner pieces.
The main reason for this post is to help return a pretty valuable piece of jewelry I found at the landing before 630am on Saturday 6/22. We put in at the old Duncans/RiversEdge Marina. There were around 8 empty trailers as we launched, so not many people it can be from. I hope whomever lost the jewelry will read or hear about this, as I am sure the misses isn’t too happy right now. So if you all will help spread the word, I will happily return the jewelry to its rightful owner. If it belongs to you and can describe it to me, its all yours! Please respond here or call Lucas at 843.412.2293 if you believe its yours. Please help spread the word, if you know anyone who took an early departure from the Ashley River landing at 526.
