We eat lots of GMO’s (genetically modified organisms) one more is no big deal. I have tasted them and they taste good. I believe they are are restricted to only be grown in captivity not in net pens in the wild. Plus they are already growing them in Canada.

The problem with this is we dont know the long term problems these practices can cause. Too much growth hormone,antibiotics, and other chemicals CANT be good for you.

Genetically engineered and growth hormones are two totally different animals. Most things we eat are “genetically engineered.”

Yall go ahead! We eat eggs from chickens that have been Genetically modified, milk from cows, beef from gm’ed cattle, etc. We have no idea what the consequences of eating these altered organisms are overtime. If you are certain that there are no dangers in this practice, eat up. Organic is a safer bet, wild caught fish and game is my preference. I think Ill go kill something now!

Yes this is true. The fact is we dont know if there are longterm health problems and/or diseases related to the injestion of these animals that have been genetically altered. I was just using the GH thing as an example of how the animals can be affected. We do know that too much GH, antibiotics, etc have led to tumor growths and weakened immune systems respectively. Are we 100% certain that genetically engineered animals are completely safe?
