Not all pallets are created equal. In my business, the OCONUS ones are the pallets that are chemically treated. Most domestic ones aren’t special, just wood. I wouldn’t hesitate burning those.

Long time visitor to the site…just registered today! I’m wrapping up a pallet project now. Tore out the nasty old vinyl siding and ceiling on my porch. Put up a breadboard ceiling and did the walls in old pallet wood. I’m thinking I may whitewash the wood to keep it brighter. Lots of uses for old pallets.
