reel’s in really decent shape - but either the handle or the drive gear has a thread problem - it will only screw in for right-hand drive - or you can use it for parts. Please reply on forum with I’ll take it and then PM me and we’ll figure out how to get it to you. I’m in Walterboro.
the reel does work fine - been used very little - reel line capacity is 260 of 8-lb mono & 195 of 10-lb. Pflueger calls it a ‘40’ size

I’ll take it. I have two other 6740 Presidents and could, if for nothing else, use it for the spare spool and have some spare parts around for my other two. Girlfriend likes right hand retrieve so maybe just set it up on a rod for her to use as it.
