So my freezer is looking sparse, weather permitting gonna try and push offshore Sunday. Anyone else looking to try? Idk if its trolling or bottom just trying to fill a box or two. Any insight would be nice, we havnt been out in a month but seems the dolphin are still hanging around with some wahoo and kings sprinkled in?

We have been wearing out the bottom fish in 100-115’. Gave up on the troll for a little while since its been so slow.

Any luck with grouper? I swear I can handle bsb and verm, but the grouper evade me every time!

We have caught some decent scamp and some strawberries. We have done pretty good on them considering we have been mostly fishing for them to hit the grease and the freezer. I’m about ready to start targeting the grouper now.

Well I give up on reading the forecast, sail flow, nws, and reefcast all say a little different so we will see! Thanks for the heads up!

Coates we are gonna run out of MI. I gotta do the check up tommorow too so more than likely it’ll be a late start Saturday. Ill be on 68 “trade winds” and should be around the vermillion area or Parking lot.

Chase we’re planning on leaving MI around 5am and heading to the same area. Holla at us when you get out. Boat name Blue Runner.
Coates, you get all that wildlife out yet?

Tried you on 68 and 16, we got a late start so did the reef thing how was the parking lot? We caught a boat load of bass, only a limit of keepers and barracudas galor!

Upchurch sucked, parking lot sucked, vermillion sucked… rough when it takes 8 hours to limit out on BSB! We worked our azzes off to fill the cooler on sat. Think we had 6 fish in cooler after 7 hours, last hour we loaded up the cooler! Have no idea where the hell we were at though… about 4 miles north of vermillion at some randon numbers… what’s up with it looking like a swamp offshore?

BR was our battle buddy, and I think had about the same luck.

Ended with 6 pinkys, our limit of nice bass and a couple triggers. We had an awesome time…once we finally got on top of em. Coates Pete, and Rich, we enjoyed the **** out of it. The ride out wasn’t too bad but the ride in was awesome at 30+ mph. Stayed busy all day, probaby why we didn’t hear you Chase…

10-4, prolly gonna be labor day before we make it back down. Hopefully we’ll be able to pick out a day or two to get out there again.
Good luck!
