Anyone know a shop around town that I can get some wax freezing paper?
Pretty much all grocery stores used to have it? I’d give one a try. Been so long since I’ve used any since vacuum packing came along.
Only place I have found it recently is at Doshers on Savannah hwy. Old school.
Like Fred mentioned, most of the grocery stores around me carry it. Granted, it’s not big bulk commercial rolls. If you don’t need it today, you can find it all over the Interwebs.

Not sure how much you need but if a small quantity some grocery stores sell it in the Reynolds’s Brand and is usually near the Reynold’s Aluminum foil.
Local Restaurant Supply stores might have it in larger bulk quantities.
Dollar general has it.
