I know that cobia is better if cooked fresh, but does anyone have suggestions on the best way to freeze it for a short duration (less than 2 months)? Is it better to freeze it in water or not? Any ideas would be helpful.
I have vacume packed cobia as well as other fish for months and months and it is almost as good as fresh. I even use the battery powered zip lock machine and it works fine. The only thing I freeze in water is fresh water fish and shrimp.

I think I got mine at bilo but walmart has them as well.
