Yeah ive done it with fresh clams, mussels and oysters that ive pre shucked and then froze. I was fine and they tasted great. But i fried them, and i beleave a hard frying and anythings edible. I havent done it in the shell but i freeze them in the shell to make it easier to shuck for bait and they come out fresh. I doubt leaving them in the shell would make a difference.

I bought one of those Mossy Oak Bait Wrap things. Also thought by freezing the raw oysters, I could thaw them out for that as well.

Shuck them over a sieve (keep the shells out of the juice). Then freeze them in their own liquid. They will keep about six months that way.
