I have an issue with rainwater channeling between my neighbor’s and my driveways leading down to our respective boat ramps. I have been probing with a metal rod and some areas I have almost 2 feet of underground erosion under the side of the driveway. I am looking for recommendations on someone to excavate, install a drain and backfill. Looking for the job done right over lowest cost. Thanks.
I’d suggest calling the city or county public works in your area before you do anything. If either has a drainage problem it may be causing your problem. If so they should fix the problem at no charge to you.
You’d be better off with a swale or install a catch basin and run hard pipe to the water.
