I’ve never been much on shrimp and grits. But that looks really really good.
this was the easy breakfast recipe. just sauteed shrimp with old bay, and the quaker instant cheese grits, with more cheese added in.
When i do it for dinner for the family, we use the sausage, and i make a gravy, saute onions/bellpeppers.
My wife makes a pretty good shrimp and grits. I also love them grilled after a short marinade in tequila and lime.

My dad loved grits with most everything. He would make sure Mom cooked enough bream to have the next morning cold with his grits. I think he liked Cold fish as good if not more than fresh out the grease. After supper I’ve seen him get a huge spoon full of Grape Jelly and put it in a bowl/plate of grits for his desert.
