Is it feasable to install the flush tube on an older model 2 stroke 150 Yamaha. The boats in the slip and would love to easily flush them out. Currently using the muffs underwater, works but only so so. Any ideas?. Thanks.

I have a buddy that is a crabber. He has a Carolina Skiff that he bought at the same time I bought mine. He always asks me “how many hours you got on that motor”. Last time I had 400 hours. He said he has 3000 hours on his!!! He said he had another crabber friend that ran his motor for 7000 hours and never flushed it. I think the most important thing is to run the engine frequently rather than stress over the flush aspect. The thing I always say is “running that motor is the best maintenance”.
