Hey y’all, I was just told by my apartment complex that I cannot use the water faucet on my apartment building anymore because there is no way to tell who is paying the water bill in the building… I even broke down the water flow rates and costs which would be less than a dollar a month but they didn’t budge. So does anyone know of landings around here that have a freshwater hookup or a place where I can go to flush my motor? Thanks
Isle of Palms Marina does. A long right out for most people but honestly it is well worth the drive. Intracoastal is loaded with fish.

Some car washes have them.
Find a freshwater ramp, dunk the trailer and run the motor for a few minutes (when no one is waiting).
Car wash to clean topside if needed.
If not the residents ; Then who gets to use the faucet???
What area is your apartment? Some gas stations have water faucet next to the air pump.

How close is your apartment to the parking lot? Can you run an adapter off your sink through a hose to your boat?
Have a two stroke? Get yourself a long enough hose and fire it up right in front of their leasing office. Then get yourself a couple spraycans of seafoam, spray it down the carbs and kill every skeeter in a three mile radius. Rev it real loud just to make sure it sounds good. Do this once a week and put a sign up when you do it saying you are paying for your own water.

Put a 55 gal drum in a parking place and drop your motor in it and run it a 2 am wide open!
Where do you normally put in at? I am off of Paramount Dr in North Charleston. You can come by and use mine. I have a hose connected to a shallow well pump that reaches well into the street. The only stipulation is you have to roll the hose back up after use.
One Simple Thanks!!

If anyone know a good spot to rinse the engine between Remley’s Point and Moncks Corner (Hwy 52), I’d love to hear it. Pain in the *** to drive home, rinse the engine, then back track 10 miles to boat storage.
Flywatt, Goose Creek Reservoir is off HWY 52 behind Trident Tech. I have dipped mine in there before, but it was in the wee hours of the morning after shrimping.

I’m familiar with it. It’s a bit out of my way. I was hoping for a gas station or car wash w/ a hose.
