Fished this past Friday and Saturday on the Sportsman. Capt Bubba made the decision to go way south around the 800 line. We were just a little north of the Deli. We found a rip with some decent weed lines that was running west to east. We trolled the rip from 600 ft to 1500ft and ended up catching 27 dolphin. The Biggest was pushing 40 lbs.Helluva day.
Saturday we went to Georgetown hole and loaded up on Tuna. They were busting the water and chasing flyers all day long. We caught 25 tuna, 23 blackfins and 2 yellowfins. These were by far the best opening days i’ve ever been on. The largest Tuna was pushing 50lbs and was caught by The captains brother Buck. Two great trips.
I’m back and I’ve promised to behave this time.

Rick- congratulations on two fantastic days of fishing. I called Johnny to confirm the rumors I heard Sat. night. DAK may not see you very much in May if fishing stays that good.
