First off…wanna give a big thank you to Scott at Seels in Mt p for helping me out Friday evening. Was changing my trailer hub out and two of my lug nuts were rounded and wouldn’t loosen, took him the whole wheel and he was busy as he*l but still didn’t mind taking it and getting the nuts off and had me on the way in 10 minutes…thanks a lot.
After trailer repair and boat cleaning it was about 5pm, figured we’ll go take boat out for an evening ride…wanted to check out a flat with the big tide coming in anyway…got to flat, posted up and watched as tide came in. Sure enough a tail pops up at the furthest point from where I was waiting…no big deal, got out and started wading…got within range, he started cruising, one cast, one AGGRESSIVE strike…was awesome, best part was my gf seeing the whole thing go down…she’d never seen a tailer before.
Saturday, was a ride around,shark teeth hunting and crabbing day…didnt fish a whole lot…but had a blast on the water…had some amazing crab cakes Saturday night!
Was a fun weekend…dodged some storms but overall nice weekend on the water!
