Friday 11-24

Got out about an hour before dawn. Was hoping for topwater, and had a couple of blow-ups, but no real takers. Trout started hitting after first light just a little below mid tide. Probably caught about 20, better than half of which were legal. All fish caught in less than 8 ft. It was windy and the tide was pushing. Electric chicken was the choice of the day, although “meat hook” and a white gulp shrimp also worked. Most of them were laid up around structure. SLOW, straight retrieve, worked the best. Either with or against the running tide. Last fish at 0915. Folly area. Back on the hill, fish and boat cleaned by 1115. Good morning.

Narcosis

Definitely a good morning! I like how you worked both flows of the tide, I always try that at least a few times each spot!
