Caught this fat girl about 200yds. off the beach at Coneross Campground. Had lots of 6" BB bitten off halfway. Looks like they’ve stocked Hartwell with bluefish. Come on up Tim, starting the Friday night trips this week.

We had gar occasionally chasing the bait and cutting it up but these were sudden hard hits that cut the bait off.
I’d rather fish than eat.
A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.

I’ve had stripers and catfish both do that before. I know it was catfish because I was using dead creek chubs on the allegheny river and that is the only thing there that would eat them. Figure it was striper because it was live herring suspended over deep water at lake murray dam. Nice fish, especially for shore fishing.
