Friday 9/19 early kayak fish from Sullivan's

Looking to head out of Station 19 on the backside of Sullivan’s Island Friday 9/19 around 5:30-6am (up to you) if anyone wants to join. Probably out until @ 1230-1pm and already have shrimp and several dozen MM plus whatever the castnet grabs in the AM. Lemme know if you what to meet up.

Kayak fish, usually Wando or creeks off the ICW north of Chas Harbor. Sometimes surf fish (mainly SI).

Plan to launch at 6, feel free to meet me there.

Good luck, man – let us know how you do!

Weather kept me from launching until almost 8:30 with thunder off IOP, so I missed most of the higher falling tide. Paddled to the oysters in the Cove and got blown all over the place trying to find some trout. Then moved in among the side creeks and pockets and finally latched on to a school of baby reds, that kept on biting til the tide turned. Caught about 15-20, all under slot and probably the same ones more than once. Plan to go back out when my son gets home from school if the weather holds to catch the higher tide on the flats.

Used live and then eventually dead shrimp and mud minnows, both under floats. Caught most of em on MM and most of my shrimps got nibbled off.
