Saltwater Striper Fishing

After the last few trips with some dissapointing results trolling at night, I decided to get in a couple of hours of bait fishing before work this morning. Put in at 6 and it worked out perfect as I got number 5 right at 7:45. All were in the 20"-22" range except for fish #2, which was a nice fat 15 lber.

All were caught suspended in the river channel from 60’-80’. I hadn’t fished any live bait in a while and was surprised to see that they are still getting some nice sized baits. I was even more surprised to see how long they were living down that deep. Guess thats a good sign.
