Friday morning, a little improvement

Early on found lots of fish between 30-40 feet in 50-60 feet of water around Susie G. Had many pulldowns but only a 21 and a 22 hooked up. 35 feet was just about the limit of keeping any bait alive for any length of time. Water temp still close to 82. Checked out a lot of boats congregated SW of Burton Point, but they must have been having a meeting when we got there as we saw no action or fish. Still, the day was better than some of our more recent trips. I bet a new Structure Scan fishfinder would make all the difference.

Haaaaaaahahahahahaahaha … yeah I bet a nice new $4,000 fish finder would make all the difference, too … If only my Center Console had enough room on it to mount one …:smiley::smiley:

it’s my Wife’s fault we HAVE to fish now!!!

With a RAM mount you can mount an HDS-12 on just about every center console, you need about 4 inches of space.

Susie G? That’s a new one on me. Can you give me another marker or club map coordinate to go by? After 15+ years I’m still learning the Murray lingo. Thanks for the report- trying to keep track since I’m getting after them next Friday. Can’t wait- it’s been too long.

I am guessing his E finger hit the G button. Susie Ebert island in Ballentine.

Thanks for the correction, Murraymaker. Getting older’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Accidentally double posted (still don’t know how I did that) and can’t spell. Hear and see all the new equipment, and wonder if it’s cost effective to purchase it, but it sure is neat.

Got it. Thanks for the clarification.
