On the water at 7:45 went to my usual spots in John’s creek. Marked a TON of bait. Waited around the area for a hour and still nothing but bait. Hit several spots from Bear creek to just about Burton point. Did a lot of trolling and marked scattered fish but no bites. Stripers finally showed up in John’s about 12:30. Caught three keepers in a span of 20 minutes on the spoon. Kept a 26 incher for the grill and called it a day.
Don’t know if the high pressure made them screwy or if they’re moving up the lake.
