Went out after work Friday with Steeverino, got on the water by 5:30. Launched out of Hallmark Shores. Water was 54 in the back of the cove and 52 out in the main lake. No fish in that area but found some fish on a point in 45 to 55 feet of water in Beaverdam. Fish were all on the bottom, even marked some on the bottom in 80’. Caught about about 10 shorts and 3 keepers.
I always look back for reports and I haven’t left many this year. Really struggled at night this winter. Fished mostly in Little Saluda down to spinners. Things got a little better the last few weeks as the river water temps have dropped below the down lake water. Got most around Hawleek Creek. Got keepers 3 or the last 4 trips
