Left the house at six and did not get lines in the water until close to 7:30. Fished for about an hour and got 2. One 18" and one 26". Went back to the launch because of approaching storm. By the time I got my trailor down it looked like it was about to pass. Went back out and got blown around for a while trying to fish. Then a second round of storms chased me off. Waited till about 10:30for them to pass and then left. I wanted to check out to see if the lunar calender was correct. In fisherman said major feeding time from 10 to 12. Went home and got the babies geared up for the upcoming steeler season.

Yeah I saw the storms on the internet and figured it was not worth the trip. My little Bass Tracker doesnt mix well with Pop up storms. Glad you caught two anyway.

I was suprised at how many boats stay out there when there is a thunderstorm blowing in. Out on a lake is the last place I want to be when there is lightning like there was. I was also suprised at the number of boats that came late and were waiting out the storm.
