Headed out from Murrells Inlet to the Scarp. Seas nice. Water color good and temp 78 degrees. Passed quite abit of life in shallow but once out saw no flyers at all. Trolled for wahoo on the scarp no luck. Pushed deeper and at about 350 feet found a half submerged 55 gallon drum with lots of bait arond it. passed by and had 2 knock downs one mahi we saw jump. Missed both, baited back up half mono and half wire. Got 2 mahi and 2 of the mono lines cut clean. Got ready for 3rd pass but lost the barrell. Saw two black fin jumping behind us but no luck hooking any. Ride back in was abit wet and rough.
Still a nice day.
