Friday/Saturday (picture heavy)

Broke out the heavy gear and decided to go elephant hunting. Friday was slow for us as we had a hard time making good bait. Saturday we filled up a bucket of by-catch from one of the local shrimp trawlers and I can’t thank them enough. Lots of life out there right now!

Nice!

Nice!!! If you don’t mind me asking how deep were the grouper?

Wow, and a tripletail to boot.

If you’re lucky enough to be fishing, you’re lucky enough.

Good day! Nice!

Flounder came out of 100ft. Quite the surprise.

Was the flounder on a roscoe? Caught one earlier this year at the gardens on one.

This was our first trip since August. Its been a challenging year to get offshore. Fished Friday, woke up Saturday at daybreak and it was still slick and that front had pushed back until Sunday so we called the banker, took out a quick second mortgage on the house, gassed the boat up and hit it again.
