Yesterday it took a while but picked up 4 reds in the folly and lost a few. chunk mullet on the bottom (as always for me) few hours before and after low tide.
this morning, picked up a nice 28 in red in one of the same spots. missed a few others. should’ve stayed put but decided to move spots to change it up and got nothing afterwards. probably due to all the boat traffic once the crowds starting putting in. ah well. the funny part was when i had the red on and told me wife to grab the net… cricket… cricket…, then she asked, “babe,… where the hell’s the net???”. yep, guess that blew off the boat on the way to the ramp somehow. so i had to finally tire him out and pick him up by hand.
all reds revived and released. tried for sheeps a few times but not hard enough. received some great tips and spots from a guy about sheeps. really appreciate the tips and thanks to whoever you are. will try them out soon. definitely impatient to start putting sheep in the boat again!
