Dropped lines in about 150 feet straight out on Friday morning. We lost a slinger right behind the boat right off the bat. Trolled out towards the 380 hole and not another bite until we hit 600 feet of water when we put a nice dolphin in the boat. The next bite came on the short rigger a few minutes later. We didn’t know it until it came up beside the boat but it was a BLUE MARLIN. Our lady angler did a good job getting it to the boat for a good release. Next we came across a school of slingers witch we bailed over the side until they lost intrest. We put around 10 in the boat before we moved on. Eventually picked up lines and headed back to the ledge. Found some live bottom and big phins. Put a double and then a triple in the boat. A couple of the bulls were grown. Some how one of our guys managed to gaff himself in the foot but still wanted to stick it out and do a little bottom fishing.

A know a guy who ran the gaff all the way through his calf in one side and out the other,glad he was able to fix you up,congrats on your day and hangin tough.
