Got my trailer fixed Thurs., so we went out yesterday for a while. We put in at Barstow about noon, after getting some shad from Better Bait. We went up the Little Saluda just past the power lines. We ended up with 8 fish with 3 keepers in the bunch. That’s the most fish we’ve caught in over 3 weeks. I finally convinced my neighbor that there are fish in the lake.
All fish caught in 5-8 ft. of water. gave it up around 4.
Bob, sorry to hear about the trailer but a lot of people don’t feel their responsible for their actions anymore. Sounds like your Friday wasn’t too bad. Boating a few fish is always fun, especially with keepers in the mix. I always appreciate individuals posting what’s going on and try to do the same. Hopefully it’s beneficial to others.
Thanks Mike. Like I said in my other post, it’s all water under the bridge now. Yes, it was good to finally put some in the boat. especially after being skunked for the past couple of weeks.
