went fishing and scouting for bigger shrimp yesterday…nay on the bigger shrimp…but did find a couple "interesting deep holes I might try on a lower tide when the current isnt running like a train.
Was a beautiful day out. Nice breeze and caught about one of everything …except a sting ray and eel…oh I was soo sad:wink:
caught little rat reds…no big ones but always a fun fight…a few trout,ladyfish…who arent ladylike at all and run and jump like crazy…put on quite a nice show…whiting,perch,penfish and a toad…and saw a few more too but that is another story:smiley:
Was able to put Roo out on the beach to run…saw three eagles, a hawk…had a crab follow our boat as we drifted…I told donnie must be a tarpoon or shark around and he was looking to hitch a ride…saw some porpoises…ok dolphin feeding and beaching…best part of that…as much as I love it was watching the couple woth a little 3-4 year old and seeing her face as she watched them. Bank was covered with glass minnows and little shrimp.
out early morning…back in at 430…lots of little shrimp…could have brought a nice mess home…but I just cant justify kepping those little fellas…and will take my chance in letting them grow a little more…and hope they hang around.
