Have anyone ever saved the fiddler crabs they didn’t use and freeze for the next trip. If so, were they still usable???

I know fresh dead fiddlers work. I actually like to bust my fiddlers a little when I put them on the hook. Fiddlers spoil quick when dead and once they get that stink going I’ve never caught a thing on them. I’d bring more than one source of bait just o be safe.

Lmbo boatpoor. Naw have not got back down on the coast yet definitely not after Charleston got the storm us upstate guys suppose to have got. I will be down my birthday week of the 27th me and my girl to soak some lines for my birthday. Hope some sheeps, drums and whitings are still around biting… Guess i will use them frozen fiddlers for chum now…lol
yes. they were very hard to keep on the hook and the smell was not very pleasant. However, the fish didn’t seem to mind.
