Where do I find frozen herring? I have been to Boaters World and Wal-mart, but no luck. I live downtown and I was hoping to find some kinda close.

Dont know if they were shad or herring but I went to wateree spillway two months ago and was catching a lot in a cast net. I took them home and froze them myself. Probably caught fifty per throw. If you ad water to the freezer bags and squeeze out the air you avoid freezer burn. My wife doesn’t like them in the freezer but it saves some money. I still have a lot in the freezer, I could give you some. I live in west columbia and usually fish the river walk, the zoo or metts landing.
