My brother and I headed out to FP yesterday, BEAUTIFUL day, calm seas and the fish were biting. Well…we never caught any because the motor on his boat blew and we had to call Sea Tow. Listening on the VHF to everyone trolling around the tower they could barely keep a line in the water. King and Dolphin fish were thick…wish we could have made it! We were 1.6 miles from the tower when the motor blew up so we made the call, bumped the bottom for 3 hours waiting on them and caught some bait fish…worthless. Next time we are taking my boat and getting some kings!

It’s probably too early for the Horshoe, that’s my favorite King hole up that way. Only 21 miles, too…

Yeah that’s a great spot. Too bad it’s supposed to be too rough for my 20’ for a little while…i was hoping to head out again in the next day or two
