It grouped 4" with the core locked bullets you had left over but I was getting consistent .5" with Hornady Superformace GMX bullets. Placement is more important than just about all other factors so that’s what I’ll be using.

Jordan,
You bought a sweet gun. I found mine likes heavier bullets. After about 3 or 4 shots my groups really open up with that gun due to its lightweight barrel. Shooting a cold bore makes a tremendous difference with that gun. The x bolt is the only gun I take to the woods anymore.

Old thread but Jordan you’re right. Perfect hunting rifle. Mines put two down so far this season and I haven’t had to track an inch. Most accurate rifle I own.
