Chris is correct. Navman was bought out but a unit is available from West Marine that is essentially the same product. I priced them at $169.00 ea. Hope this helps.

If you are doing it to find some magical sweet spot in fuel economy, dont bother. Save your money and irritation with the FF meter. Due to the single gear, the curve is nearly linear except when squeezing those last 2-3 knots out at wide open throttle. Surf the web and you can find plenty of performance charts of your engine with similar size boat. You can easily figure out the cost per mile at several different speeds or RPM ranges. Because its linear, it costs a little more to go a little faster and you can also see the incremental cost in going a little faster, its not much at all if you operate in the 4-5K RPM range. Also, you may install a gage in your dash and put a sensor in your fuel line on to have it cause problems later. The fuel flow in GPH at given RPM is provided by the manufacturer and you can record your boat’s speed at that RPM. Then multiply by the cost per gallon and you have it all.

At least try it before you go out and purchase some expensive system. I purchased a FF meter first then figured all this out after. The meter just confirmed the data already avail from the manufacturer.

Fuel flow meters are not just for figuring range. Get offshore and your linear fuel usage chart is worthless. Using it allows you to trim your boat correctly extending engine life. I’ve had a Navman 3100 since 2003 and seen flow from 10 gph (ICW) to 16 gph (Offshore)depending on current and sea state on my OX66-250. Also fuel gauge accuracy changes depending on angle of the hull. My Navman bit the dust this year and I’m looking for a replacement.
