Boat started bogging down when I give it gas. Alarm went off saying it was something called the “fuel pump float switch”. Barely made it back. Anybody ever had problems like this? Motor is a 2008 Mercury Verado 150.

It was the float switch and the pressure regulator hose had ruptured. regulator hose deteriating is a common issue; but the replacement hose is made from a different material. I hope you are happy with your repairs.
