Fuel Stabilizers

Who uses what?

I see treatments, protection, marine?

Running a 2 stroke 90 VRO

I use marine formula Sta-bil. My boat holds 65 gallons of gas and it sometimes takes 6 months or more to burn that much fuel. I’d hate to have any of it go bad.

i run non ethonal fuel…

but around this time of year i tend to start my 1 bottle of sea foam every other fill up followed my marine stabil or startron in between those… usually by the end of season when i put boat up i do a quick full fill up and add both a bottle of seafoam and a stabalizer and let it sit till spring…

i have also debated the new 360 seafoam stuff but have seen 0 reports of it or anyone using it other than on tv…

i would say i feel safer running a few bottles thru towards the end of the year getting it in the fuel lines/motor… just pouring it in atthe nedo f the season is good but nless you get it in the fuel system it is doing no good other than the fuel sitting in holding tank.

X2 on the Startron. While buying supposedly ethanol-free fuel, we accidently got some ethanol gas a while back. After expensive repairs I now use Startron with ethanol treatment all the time. Haven’t had a problem since starting with Startron.

I use startron too and i havent had any ethonal issues.
