Full cooler BB Sunday

Took a fishing client of mine to a spot today in Bulls Bay. I haven’t baited in 5 years but assured him we would fill the cooler. It took 8 passes and 2 hours but filled the cooler with all xlarge. Baited 2 hours before low. 3-4 ft water depth and dirty water. Beautiful day on the bay.

Tight lines.

was the wind tough today?

No wind to maybe 5mph while we were there.

Sounds like I owe you a twenty. PM me your address.

Would you be kind enough to reveal whether you were
north or south. Shrimping has not been so good down HH way
so we thought we would try a one dayer on Weds. from Cola
town and would appreciate any help. Don’t need to be
specific.

I was out in the Bay Sunday. 6 shrimp:frowning_face:

We ended up with 1/2 cooler of large and extra large. 10 quarts in the freezer and jambalaya tonight!

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive body, but rather to skid in sideways with a fishing pole in one hand and a beer in the other, body thoroughly used up and screaming --WOO HOO-- what a ride!!

North or South please?

Came out of Anderson Creek and went several miles north. It is a place I have been going for a long time. Ran just inside the island with the old boat on it and stayed on the outside of the couple of sandbars. There is an island that has a small channel going to the ocean. When I am there I always see several boats on the inside of a big sandbar near the marsh. I am about 1/4 mile out in the bay from that sandbar. It is hard to describe. I have it marked on my gps.

Hope that helps.

We only had 8 poles on Sunday. I was throwing a big net and we were getting on average 120 shrimp per pass.

Congrats Robert, sounds like you’re still the best on the water. When is Cadillac coming to town? I just moved back to Chucktown in January. Talk to you soon - Tom

Lot of good, honest info here… Congrats on the pole running.

Cadillac will be here the week after Thanksgving. I am sure if you can hook up with him, you can get on board for some fishing and shrimping. Just remember to leave all feelings at the dock.

Appreciate the info. I’ll report back how we do tomorrow.

Congrats, Knot. Good to hear that someone is catching them.

Good job Robert! Are the fish still in our favorite creek? Or have they moved offshore?
