We made a late decision to give it a go yesterday. I am glad that we did, the ocean was beautiful. We fished in the 900’s between 150 and 250 feet pretty much all day. Fishing was good. We ended up the day with 30 Dolphins, 6 Blackfins, 4 Wahoos, 3 kings, and the assorted sharks, cudas, bonitas, etc.
The Highlight/Heartbreaker of the day was watching three GROWN sharks devour a wahoo right behind the boat. It was impressive to say the least. Back to them this weekend.

How big was the hooo that the shark ate, and what kind of sharks?

The wahoo would have only gone around 30 lbs, but the sharks were every bit of 10 footers. I am not sure what kind they were. I know that they were not Duskys or Silkys that we catch, but they were brown and not Hammerheads. Does any one have any guess as to what they might be? My first thought was Tiger Shark, but I don’t know if they feed in Packs.

nice fishing. that is a great mixed bag. i’m guessing that your attack could have come from bronze whalers or duskies…

Good fishing Capt. Ed. Can’t wait to get 'em again. It was worth the price of admission to watch the sharks at work.

Capt. Ed Thanks For the Great Day !!! It was one of the best off shore trips I have ever been on. Look forward to fishing with ya’ll again. Jamie and I had to run right after the fish got cleaned But just wanted to say THANKS since we left in a hurry.
The sharks eating the wahoo was crazy I think we got some pics of the head in the box with the rest of the fish.
