Full Pull 5/17

Well, the Weather Man said that it was going to lay down and thank goodness he was right. It was ROUGH and breezy for the first half of the day. About lunch time the wind fell out and the ocean followed. We picked at the dolphin all morning and put one wahoo in the box. We poked out head out into the deep for a second and never really found anything. We went back to the break and saw the Blackfins busting, but couldn’t really do anything with them. Ended the day with 14 Dolphin, 3 Blackfins, 2 Wahoo, and a King.

Brainstorm,

I am guessing that was us to the north of you. You said that you fished to the 100. I think that the furthest south that we got was to the 020. We started at the 950 and never saw the tunas until we got down your way. Of course by the time that we saw them, the wind was gone.

I wish that we heard you on the radio. For some reason, everyone was on Channel 10 up there. It would be nice to have a few more wahoos. I know on Wed we caught 4 and Ried caught 6.

I hope to see you out there this week!

I tried 10 a few times as well but I couldn’t get anyone. Talked to the Holley Daze and they had a good day also. I’m traveling for a few days but I’m sure will see you out there end of the week.
