Full Pull 5/3

Fished at the Hole again on Saturday with a group of friends. Never ventured further that a mile from where we set out. Fishing was pretty steady all day. Most of the fish were from 150 to 180 feet. Ended the day with 16 Blackfins (we kept 14), a wahoo, 4 kings, a cuda, and a couple of Bonitas. Can’t wait to go again!

We still have several open days in May. Check out our website www.fullpullsportfishing.com

I see that it has warmned up some. When i was there last it was only 72.99234 Deegreez Faranheit. Hey were you still getting a bunch of bites on the Berkley gulp sguid spreader bar? I know it was raging hot on Thursday. Thats a great catch of fish JWF! Keep up the big numbers.

We had it out first thing, but got it burned off in a triple header. It was tough to beat on Friday. Those blackfins love it! I guess I will have to make another one. We put a Storm 6" Wild Eyed Live Anchovy out in it’s place and were able to get a few bites. Good going on your Blue Saturday.

Thats a tough break oin losing the bar. Hey I meant to ask you how you kept them stinky squid from being so nasty until you put them in the water. I have tried several diferent approaches but that Gulp juice is bad stuff.

Really it is easy to deal with. You just take the bar with the squids still on it and wrap the whole thing in Ceran Wrap. I usually put it in the fish box for the ride home and when we get back it goes inside.

JWF, don’t you find it wierd that they only bite the Anchovy and not the Nuclear Chicken? Ben, feel free to help out with this. I could not even get a nibble with the chickens. Any help will be welcomed.

Kenny, why don’t you try chicken neck!

I have had great success with the Nuclear Chickens but only when I used an old sparkplug for the chin weight. Not sure what it is but that sure did work wonders.
JWF- Didnt think about seran wrap. Will have to try that next time Im on the rip. Oh have you been soaking your plugs in that gulp bucket? I find that to be most devastating.

NGK or Champion or Bosch? You are the ‘Chosen One’.

Capt Crafton,
I use the Split fire plugs b/c I like the way that they grab the fish by the goozle and make it dig in the front face of the backside wake. That really gets the daymaker lunker basket busters biting.
