</font id=“Arial”></font id=“size4”>Well, this will be my first post. I’m from upstate SC, been doing the freshwater lakes and rivers (namely Catawba) for the last 15 years. Moved down for school this year and a buddy of mine recently got our hands on a canoe.
Our first trip out was Thursday morning. After being jerked around by Walmart and having to wait 2 hours to get our saltwater license we finally got out on the water at Paradise landing. Got bait within sight of the landing. Paddled FOR HOURS to get to a few decent looking spots. He landed a small red. I was really excited to land an 17" trout on a jig head with a MM. That, a long with the standard few random baby sharks, we had a great first trip out!
Also, anyone willing to depart with some insight and knowledge, we’d be more than happy to buy you lunch, fill your boat up, and put a drink in your hand if you’d take the two of us out on the water. I’ve poured over the forums here, but nothing really matches time on the water. Message me if interested.
