Fun couple of hours Sunday

Took another couple out for a little boat ride Sunday afternoon. Loaded up on Mud minnows and was rigged for float fishing. Cruising north on the ICW I spotted the tell tail sign of reds pushing a bank. We looped around and started easing in on them, since I was rigged for float fishing I had to scramble and get a couple of rods rigged up with artificials, opened up the console and grabbed the first baits I saw which were Treuse Goose by Bass Assassin, “If it ain’t Chartreuse, it ain’t no use” is a saying I like to use. Ended up picking 4 fish out of the school ranging from just afew pounds up to around 7 pounds. Got guide scouted while releasing a fish so I am sure that person is probably back there today. As soon as the tide got all the way out the winds started picking up so we went to the beach to let the dog run. Great day for January to be on the water.

Saturday we went to Orangeburg for the Grand American Coon Hunt which was an experience to say the least.

What happened to Peapod’s post about the Coon hunt?

If you have never been to that, then put it on your list for next year. Great way to kill a Saturday and the even is a “sight sound and smell, unlike anything you have ever experienced”

I figured it aggravated you because you didn’t reply. I didn’t want to do that.

Both the catchin and the coon hunt sounds fun.

I hope to meet the Beagles one day.

My New Years resolution was not to get aggravated.
