So ive decided that the fish outside of the chucktown area are retarded… cuz Im not that good, and I caught a few fish these past two days. Shadowgrass, Toothlessblue, Trueblue, and myself spent the past two days chasing tailers down south.
Wed- Fished the early morning high. LOTS of fish… Toothless and myself fished together, and True fished with Shadowgrass. Totals at the end of the morning Toothless: 1 nice 25" fish
Trueblue: 1 nice fish as well
Shadowgrass: 2 fish (not sure bout’ size)
Me: 2 fish, one 27". One 30"
We knew that the evening tide was going to blow out, and quick so we got out there really early and set up to wait for the water to usher the fish in. Trueblue and myself paired up and toothless took shadow. the water came quick but the fish were there. Totals at the end of the evening. Toothles: 0
Shadowgrass:0
Trueblue: 1 nice fish
Me: 2 fish both about 24-25"
This morning we met the early morning tide once again with high hopes to see the number we had experienced the previous morning. That was not the case however, as the fish just didn’t show up like we would have hoped. Morning totals Toothless: 0
Shadowgrass: 0
Trueblue: 0
Me: 1 bout’ 26"
So everyone caught fish on the trip, my total coming to 5 fish. which makes me happy.
This was a phenominal trip made possible by the hospitality of Trueblue… I can’t say thanks enough man for the place to crash. We all had way too much fun,(and drank way too much) and I really wish I had the desire or fortitude to catalogue it here for you. I also don’t have any pics, but shadow does, as does toothless, so maybe if they read this they will throw a few photos
If any pics of the captain appear on the interweb here there will be a plank walking on next fishing trip. And you will be on your own for returning to the dock.

waters too dirty, been chummin like a fool but no luck yet, some fish jumpin in the river but i guess i have to wait till the tides get back in the low 5’s, caught that bass in the pond trueblue
Just found the pics of the two fish I landed that first morning. Later that last day I recieved an award for the most hungover person to undergo surgery. My award? A BIG bottle of hydrocodone.
