fun full day on the random hookup

Tested the new waterpump by going out to around 300’ “thank GOD it ran great”. Got a few dolphin but it was slow. Everyone on the radio did not seem to be tearing ‘em up in the deep water so we decided to try cooler water. First we went for a short swim in that 78 degree water and man it felt nice. We decided to fish around a slick on the 120’ mark and picked up another dolphin and a nice king. Fished till 3 and then headed back for a soaking wet ride home. Wish we could have caught more but it was still a great time. this is my first time posting pics here so hopefully this works

man o man…

i used to love to swim out there… but…

  1. i’ve gotton too old and afraid of my shadow

  2. i’ve seen too many other shadows that scare me to death…

you boys be careful

good job look like a pretty good day thanks for posting

Should have bought a Contender… it would have been a nice dry ride home!!! Stop fish pushing in the last pic… I know that king was only 12lbs…lol Next time let me know before you come down so I can put you on the fish!

There’s a reason I don’t swim out there…

I def thought about those big nasty jokers before we took the plunge but what the heck. We only go around once! That being said…It would have really sucked to end up shark lunch.

Kenny I agree with you on the contender part. I would love to have one. Let me know if you here of any good deals. I will give you a call a few days before we head back to the low country and you can point the way to the fish. The small boat restricts the days we can take her out.

What the heck is that?!!! Is that Jason Harris in one of those Pics?

My main concern about jumping in and swimming is not toothy critters, but the fact that crew on the boat might take off! Especially if I hadn’t put them on the fish. Ha!
