Benton’s @ Snyder’s Crossroads (hwy 63 & 21) has fresh boiled peanuts. They are coming out of Florida until the locals are ready. Got a peck for the grandbabies to eat this afternoon.
$62 a bushel boiled or $52 a bushel green.
$18 a peck boiled.

Bought a bushel from them last season. Good peanuts. Good people.
Wish they were closer. I love me some boiled peanuts. Need to find some green ones in the Mt. Pleasant area (need a couple bushel).

They sure have gone up in price over the last 6 years! But still dang good. Picked up a peck yesterday. No spanish, these are the larger white peanuts coming out of Florida. Locals should be ready in a month. They were being sold almost as quick as they were bagging them.
Used to be only $10 for boiled vs green. Now a $55 difference. Inflation is barking up every tree. this is were a good political statement could be said, but can’t talk about that anymore on CFC unless it is done in the basement for any new members coming here and then you are not allowed in by admin until you meet some rules.
