anyone have one? comments? Thinking about the 16’CC
Started years ago with 26’ down to 23’ 19’ etc etc…trying to minimize and simplify…next I guess I’ll be fishing in an inner tube

I’ve got a G3 1860CC with a 90 Yamaha on it and it is bad. Close to 45 stroked out and can also get skinny. I use ot for duck killin, fishin, giggin, shrimpin and everything else. It has been to hell and back and has never let me down. I got mine out at Edisto Marine before Hanckel started carrying them. They have added some really cool upgrades since I got mine.

i believe some things have changed over at g3. when i had mine, the front weld (bottom to side) in the front busted 2 times. i think this is due to the weight of the front platform. they were very good at having it rewelded for me. 2 friends had the same problems 3 times each and both got new boats. i havent heard this problem with them in 4-5 years but it is definately something to look at. other than that issue i loved mine. 16’ with a yammie60. name of speed metal

I have a 2004 16’ sc w/a 40hp yamaha and I like it alot.It’s been in some really shallow water gotten to the flounders and everything that lives in the water.Only issue I had was the paint on the diamond plated floor started peeling and G3 replaced it no ?'s asked.
If you are looking for a good 16’er let me know.

I had one that I bought new in the early 2000’s.
Wish I had it back if nothing else but for duck-hunting.
That thing was as tough as nails.
I fished, shrimped, and hunted ducks out of mine. Good boats.

I’ve got a 2005 1652 SC with a 25hp Yamaha and have not had any issues. Wish I had gotten a cc in hind sight but it’s a good first boat. Recently went to the local G3 dealer and was starting to hear voices in my head…
