Galv Axle Parts

I see where you guys told penfish about chas trailer for an entire trailer but how about a place that sells just parts that I can replace myself? Maybe even and entire kit leaf springs and bolts and all?

Northern tool usually has some decent deals on trailer axle/spring combos. When my axle failed years back I got a new one from Seels on 17. Don’t remember the price but I know they had a large selection on the rack ready to go. Charleston trailer also sells individual parts but I have never dealt with them so I can’t say anything one way or another.

Yea thanks y’all! Talked with Steve and the guy even stayed after hours for me to bring my axle to him! He is building me a new one from scratch and says it will be ready tomorrow afternoon! It’s gonna be awesome! Prices are even a few dollars less than stuff I found online and the guy is making mine custom fit! You can’t beat that! Hope it works out and I can maybe hit up some top water action sat morning!

If you want stainless u-bolts & other trailer parts Seels has them.

I think the ones that are coming with my package are galvanized…I know the axle and hubs are… Do you run SS on your bolts and nuts the attach the springs to the trailer as well??

All the nuts, bolts, washers, & u-bolts are stainless now.

I use to buy all-galvanized trailers and then replace ALL the bolts with stainless steel. One at a time to keep the integrity of the trailer intact. The cost is now prohibitive. What do you do now-a-days if you go 'galvanized'? CRC Marine Spray. One can per year at less than 10 bucks. What cost less than $10 bucks per year while fishing?
