It depends on how they beat KY 51-14 RY. If the starters quit after the 1st half and turn it over to the subs with a 42-0 score at halftime. I would say they may be better. It is all in context. Now, being a Bama fan, I don’t think this years team is better than the last two, but they are not far off. I think the offense is the same or even slightly better (more consistent) and the defense was young early, but is maturing very fast. After the 42 points given up to A&M, they have only given up 36 points in the other 7 games combined. I will say the competition is not a good as the last 2 years yet, but it isn’t like they are struggling at all with these teams. I guess we will know a little more in a couple of weeks when they play LSU.
